Information we collect

When you request a consultation, we collect the information you enter in the form: your name, email address, company name, estimated annual business revenue, the services you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us in the message field.

When you submit the form, our systems also record your IP address, your browser type, and the time of your request. We use these to deliver your inquiry and to protect the form from spam and abuse.

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for a short period for security and reliability.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, tax documents, account numbers, or other sensitive financial information through this website. We will ask for what we need through a secure channel if we work together.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

• respond to your inquiry and arrange a conversation;
• understand your needs and whether our services are a good fit;
• prepare a proposal if you ask for one;
• keep this website secure and prevent spam and abuse; and
• meet our legal obligations.

We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell your information.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising technologies. If we add any, we will update this section first.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with:

• service providers that run this website and deliver your inquiry to us, namely Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), Upstash (spam protection, and a temporary backup of any inquiry that fails to send), our email provider, and the developer who maintains this website, who receives a copy of each inquiry to make sure the form is working, each of which may use it only to provide those services;
• professional advisers, such as lawyers and insurers, where needed;
• government authorities, when the law requires it or when needed to protect our rights or the safety of others; and
• a successor business, if Nord Finance is reorganized, merged, or sold.

How long we keep information

We keep consultation requests for as long as we need them to respond and to keep reasonable business records, and generally for no more than three years unless you become a client. Information used for spam protection is deleted automatically within an hour. If an inquiry cannot be emailed to us, a backup copy is kept for up to 30 days so we can still respond, and is then deleted automatically. Our email delivery provider and hosting provider keep their records for a limited period.

How we protect information

This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to inquiries is limited to the people at Nord Finance who need it to respond and the developer who maintains this website. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information you submitted through this website, or to correct or delete it, by emailing info@nord-finance.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them where they apply.

If you become a client

Information you provide during an engagement, including tax return information, is governed by your engagement agreement and by the laws that apply to accounting and tax preparation services, including federal rules that limit how tax preparers may use and disclose tax return information. Where required, we provide clients with a separate privacy notice.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Visitors outside the United States

Nord Finance is based in the United States. If you use this website from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
